Position: Scientist – Radioligand Binding Assays Location:
Rahway, NJ 07065 Type: Onsite | Laboratory-Based | Contract
Position Overview: We are hiring a Scientist to support Merck's
Early Drug Discovery Team within the Mass Spectrometry & Biophysics
group in Rahway, NJ. This is a hands-on, lab-based role involving
radioligand binding assays, tissue culture, and data analysis as
part of a high-impact discovery environment. Qualifications: B.Sc.
with 6 years, M.Sc. with 4 years, or Ph.D. with 3 years of relevant
lab experience Must-Have Skills: Prior experience or willingness to
perform radioligand binding assays (125I, 3H, 35S) Tissue culture
(cell plating, stimulation, harvesting) Experience working with 96-
and 384-well plates Membrane preparation and data analysis using
dose-response fitting Preferred Skills: Liquid handling automation
(Echo, Bravo) Plate readers (SpectraMax, EnVision) ActivityBase or
similar assay/data systems Traditional or automated Western
blotting techniques Software Requirements: Proficient in MS Office
and Adobe PDF GraphPad Prism, ActivityBase, ELNs (preferred but not
required) Key Responsibilities: Execute radioligand binding assays
and tissue culture-based binding protocols Analyze and export data,
generate reports, and document all work in ELN Collaborate
cross-functionally and contribute to assay development and
