expanding our team and seeking a Motivated Sales Estimator to play
a crucial role in driving revenue growth. This position offers a
unique blend of technical estimating and client-facing sales
responsibilities, including a competitive base salary and
commission structure. Position Overview: As a Sales Estimator , you
will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates while
actively engaging with clients to drive sales. You will interpret
project specifications, provide detailed quotes, and work closely
with the sales team to secure new business. This role is ideal for
a detail-oriented professional who thrives in both analytical and
customer-focused environments and is motivated by earning
commission on successful sales. Key Responsibilities: Prepare
accurate and timely cost estimates by analyzing project plans,
specifications, and customer needs. Collaborate with potential
clients to understand project requirements and provide tailored
solutions. Generate and present detailed proposals, quotes, and
bids to clients, ensuring a professional and persuasive
presentation. Manage the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry to
closing deals—while maintaining strong client relationships.
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure accurate pricing
and optimize margins. Follow up on leads, track project statuses,
and provide regular updates to management. Identify upselling and
cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue. Maintain detailed
records of estimates, proposals, and customer communications. Stay
informed on industry trends, product knowledge, and market
conditions to deliver competitive estimates. Collaborate with the
internal team to ensure seamless project execution after sales are
closed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred) or
equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
estimating or a similar role (experience in the glazing industry is
a plus). Strong technical understanding of project estimation,
including reading blueprints and technical drawings. Proven track
record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience
working on commission. Excellent communication, negotiation, and
interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and
deadlines with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in
estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook),
and CRM systems. A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a
