*Intake Specialist PRN
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking caring and
compassionate people to join our team of devoted healthcare
professionals.

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia provides inpatient
psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults and older adults
experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or
psychosis. Services are provided by psychiatrists, nurses,
therapists and other professional staff who are dedicated to
improving the quality of life of our patients.
The admissions department works with the interdisciplinary team to
build relationships with referral sources, monitor the census for
the hospital, review and complete clinical presentations with the
physician, interface with insurance companies to complete
authorization for treatment. This is a fast paced position that
requires excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
POSITION SUMMARY
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred,
by discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
In accordance with the emergency regulation issued by the City of
Philadelphia requiring hospital workers to be fully vaccinated, all
employees and contractors of Haven Behavioral Hospital of
Philadelphia are required to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19
vaccine.
