Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste management in the Northeast, seeks a dedicated Side Load Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will handle waste collection responsibilities with precision and safety, contributing significantly to our mission of promoting environmentally responsible waste management solutions. The role involves operating side-loading trucks within designated routes, ensuring secure and prompt waste collection, transport, and disposal. Operate side load trucks efficiently to collect waste as per daily assigned routes. Maintain adherence to company safety and compliance policies, state and federal guidelines. Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Identify, report, and manage minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, ensuring operational standards. Coordinate with the logistics team for streamlined and timely route management. Assist in customer service delivery by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfactory service. Proficient in driving side load vehicles. Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good physical stamina and ability to handle physical work. Knowledge of safety policies and waste disposal regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. DOT Medical Certification.
