Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Paralegal to join our legal team in Princeton, NJ. This role will
focus on providing crucial support to our Asset Management
department by independently processing, reviewing, and negotiating
(as necessary) a variety of real estate related documents,
including easements, permits, and other agreements arising from the
ongoing management of our national property portfolio. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial real
estate documentation and have the ability to work autonomously
after an initial onboarding period. Responsibilities: Independently
process a high volume of asset management related legal documents,
including but not limited to easements, licenses, permits,
amendments, and other real estate agreements. Review and analyze
legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies, legal
requirements, and existing agreements. Negotiate terms and
conditions of standard asset management documents with external
parties, under the guidance of attorneys when necessary. Draft
routine legal documents and correspondence related to asset
management activities. Serve as a point of contact for internal
teams (Asset Management, Property Management, etc.) and external
parties regarding the status and requirements of various documents.
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files of
all relevant legal documentation. Track critical dates and
obligations within legal documents and proactively follow up as
needed. Assist attorneys with special projects and other legal
matters as assigned. Conduct basic legal research related to real
estate and property management issues. Ensure adherence to company
policies and procedures. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of
paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department,
preferably with a focus on commercial real estate. Demonstrated
experience processing, reviewing, and negotiating (as necessary)
easements, permits, and other commercial real estate related
documents. Strong understanding of commercial real estate
principles and terminology. Excellent analytical, problem-solving,
and organizational skills. Ability to work independently,
prioritize tasks effectively, and manage a high workload in a
fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and
accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
