Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Psychologist Hackensack

Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Psychologist to become a vital
part of our growing team at the nationally recognized Hackensack

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive psychological care,
including assessments, therapy, and case management, within a
collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team. Your expertise
will be crucial in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring
a seamless continuum of care. You will also have the rewarding

maintaining your personal time. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide expert
clinical services, including psychological assessments, treatment
planning, and individual, group, and family therapy to pediatric
patients. - Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and create
measurable, individualized treatment plans with client involvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all clinical
documentation, including progress notes, treatment plan reviews,
and discharge/transfer plans. - Offer clinical supervision and
training to psychology interns and assist in coordinating
internship programs to maintain APA accreditation standards. -
Promote a positive and supportive experience for clients and their
families, encouraging feedback and participating in service
recovery. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage
reimbursement sources, and ensure all care requirements are met. -
Stay current with developments in the field and actively
participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS: - Required: - Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or
Psy.D.). - Completion of an internship in clinical child, school,
pediatric, or adult clinical psychology. - Must hold a current New
Jersey Psychologist License or be license-eligible. - Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency with
Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. - Preferred: -
Post-doctoral training and/or experience in child maltreatment or
forensic psychology. COMPENSATION: Minimum Starting Base Salary:

Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation
ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant
funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that
can be offered. In addition to our compensation for full-time and
part-time (20 hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive
