Job Description Job Description Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Location- Hackensack, NJ Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Assignment Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Shift & Schedule Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts Shift Time: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM Weekends: Not required Holidays: Not required On-Call: None Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) . The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to post-anesthesia patients using evidence-based nursing practices. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PACU patients Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, vital signs, and patient responses Perform therapeutic and critical care interventions as needed Assist physicians during post-operative recovery and procedures Accurately document patient care and clinical findings Support patient education and discharge planning Collaborate with ICU, Pre-Op, and PACU teams as required Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or critical care experience Telemetry Experience: Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Licensure: Active RN license (state or compact) Certifications (Required): BLS ACLS PALS Telemetry Certification Telemetry Certified Preferred Qualifications 3 years of PACU experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
