Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Med/Surg Location: Bronx, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,752 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 14 days Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 11.50 Experience: Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital setting. License: New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - Physical assessment. - Medication administration. - Wound care & infection control. - IV therapy. - Post-operative care. - Patient education. - Telemetry monitoring. Description: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluating medical information and providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients. Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed and interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team. Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Maintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records. Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
