Sterile Processing Tech Location: Bethpage, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,500 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment used in healthcare procedures. The role ensures all instruments are properly maintained, sterile, and ready for use to support patient safety and surgical operations. Requirements Certification: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CBSPD preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience (hospital setting preferred). Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Sterile Processing program preferred. Skills: Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control procedures. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
