Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Specialize in caring for adult and geriatric trauma patients in a NICHE unit • Unit also serves as overflow for pediatrics, orthopedic, burn and surgery patients • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6 for both day and night shifts • 30-bed unit including a 4-bed low level monitoring room • Floating to other units required • Every weekend and every other holiday requirement • Epic charting system required • 2 years of experience required • Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience preferred • Pennsylvania or Compact license required in hand at time of submission • Local travelers accepted at rate differential • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS • Skills include blood product administration, CVA care, heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, ortho trauma, PICC line management, pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord injury care, tracheostomy care/management, traumatic brain injury, and wound care/wound vac • RTO required at time of submission • Pass/Fail exam required for clearance with only 3 attempts allowed • Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing and PA fingerprints required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized 30-bed medical surgical telemetry unit that focuses on trauma care for adult and geriatric patients.
