Type: Travel Exciting Travel Opportunity for a Psychiatric
Registered Nurse (Psych RN) in Hudson, New York! GLC is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)
for a 13-week night shift travel contract at Columbia Memorial
Health in Hudson, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain
experience in a dynamic inpatient psychiatric unit while enjoying
all that the scenic Hudson Valley has to offer. Position Details:
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Contract
Length: 13 weeks Compensation: Travel Pay: $24/hour Weekly Stipend:
$1,246 Total Weekly Pay (36 hours): $2,110 gross Overtime Rate:
$49/hour Job Requirements: Licensure: Active New York RN license
Certifications Required: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - CPI (can be completed
onsite) Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient
psychiatric nursing experience - EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred: Prior travel nursing experience Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult psychiatric patients -
Utilize CPI de-escalation techniques in crisis situations -
Accurately document patient care in the EPIC electronic medical
record - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team - Float to
other behavioral health units as needed - Take ownership of shift
responsibilities and ensure patient safety Unit Details: - 22-bed
inpatient psych unit - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 11:1 at night, 7:1
during the day - Crisis management required - Flu declination is
not accepted (medical or religious exemptions only) Eligibility
Notice: Candidates who have worked at Columbia Memorial Health in
the past 12 months or within the Albany Med Health System (AMC,
GFH, Saratoga, CMH) in the past 6 months are not eligible. Why
