• Employment Type: Local ContractDescription--- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist--- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines--- The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases--- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist--- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures--- Strong communication skills using closed loop communication--- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load--- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons--- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system--- Groin management post intervention--- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment--- BLS from an approved American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures--- Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state --- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.Skills3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.Required Education:-High School Diploma/GED.-Associate degree.OR-Completion of accredited radiographic program.Required Certifications & Licensure:-NJ radiographic licensure.-BLS from an approved American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.-Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.MetaSense, Inc.
