Job Description Job Description Salary: $125,000 - $150,100 DOE About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced CPM Scheduler to join our growing Transportation & Infrastructure Division. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling/estimating aspects of our transportation infrastructure projects, including at Newark Liberty International Airport. The Scheduler will be instrumental in developing, analyzing, and maintaining various project schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. This role could also be responsible for supporting the preparation of construction/engineering cost estimates on various sized projects as well as other project work at the direction of themcfa Project Controls Director. This role is located at Newark Liberty International Airport and will be required to be on-site 5 days a week with the potential to work remote upon Director approval. These schedules will include all phases from design to completion. Contractor Schedule Review: Analyze and review contractor-provided schedules for feasibility, risk, conflicts, and delays. Provide feedback and recommendations for scheduling improvements. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor project progress against the schedule. Identify any deviations and suggest corrective actions to keep projects on track. Collaboration with Project Teams: Coordinate with project team members, engineers, and contractors to ensure that schedules accurately reflect the scope of work and project timelines. Schedule Integration: Integrate multiple project schedules into a comprehensive program schedule to provide a holistic view of all ongoing projects. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed schedule reports, including critical path analysis, progress updates, and forecasts. Cost Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for ongoing engineering and construction projects at the direction of the Project Controls Director. Qualifications: Required: Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is required. Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in transportation infrastructure or airport projects. Knowledge of cost estimating best practices. Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles. Experience working on highways, bridge, and transit projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple project assignments. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
