Job Description Job Description Electrical Technician We are seeking a dedicated Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our team on the first shift, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently wiring electrical control panels in a high-volume production setting. You will need to read and interpret electrical schematics, B.O.M./drawings, engineering prints/specifications, and follow verbal/written instructions to ensure precise work. Responsibilities Wire electrical control panels efficiently in a high-volume production setting. Read and interpret electrical schematics, B.O.M./drawings, engineering prints/specifications, and/or verbal/written instructions. Lay out, machine, populate, and wire electrical control enclosures. Assemble mechanical and/or pneumatic components as required. Use common hand tools, drills, taps, saws, knockout punches, and multi-meter. Verify work by checking continuity or conducting simulated functional tests to ensure proper component circuitry that meets operational requirements. Operate a forklift when necessary, with training provided. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and electrical specifications. Experience in wiring electrical control panels, with UL 508A experience being a plus. Working knowledge of AC & DC control circuits, including single and three-phase motor control, and PLC terminology/function. Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and meters. Ability to understand electromechanical functionality. Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle a multi-tasked role in an organized manner. Strong computer skills, capable of working with all Microsoft Office applications. Strong time management and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using production, hand tools, wiring, schematic, electrical, blueprint, control panel, assembly, crimping, bench tech, wiring schematics, electrical wiring, and wiring diagram skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
