Project Manager – Construction Inspection

Job Description:

SI Engineering, P.C. is a 140-person full-service consulting engineering firm providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, project & program management, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector. We are headquartered in New York, NY with multiple regional offices in the NY metropolitan area, including our newest office in Princeton, NJ. We are expanding our footprint in New Jersey, focusing on public infrastructure clients such as NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit, and the PANYNJ, and as a result are looking to hire a Project Manager to lead and grow our construction inspection and construction management work with these clients. This position will be responsible for the successful construction and overall project delivery for the client and overall client satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or similar Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey 15 years of experience in complex highway and bridge construction Experience working on projects for NJDOT, NJ Turnpike, and other local clients, particularly as a Project Manager or Resident Engineer A demonstrated ability to cultivate new clients, identify opportunities, and win work Strong relationships within the industry including within agency, consultant, and contractor community Ability to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnel Excellent communication skills and work ethic A demonstrated ability to independently lead and support business development and proposal activities A demonstrated ability to evaluate the technical requirements of segments of the individual projects, outline the tasks, manpower and equipment requirements, establish fees, scope and project budgets and outline a project schedule A demonstrated ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports to communicate verbally and in writing to all parties involved SI Engineering places a high value on employee wellness and wellbeing, which is reflected in our competitive benefits package: 17 PTO Days per year, with an additional PTO day for every year after five years. 10 Paid Holidays per year 100% 401K Matching, up to 5% of employee income A choice of two comprehensive health insurance plans Dental and Vision Insurance Term Life Insurance Long Term Disability Insurance Continuing Education assistance SI Engineering, P.C. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
