Posting Summary The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers
University invites applications for Summer Lecturers (formerly
PTLs) in the Educational Theory, Policy and Administration during
the 2026 Summer Session (May 26, 2026 to August 12, 2026).
Successful Applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level
courses in social and philosophical foundations of education,
educational policy, social studies education and/or educational
leadership. Specific courses might include history of education,
philosophy of education, gender in education, race, ethnicity and
inequality, urban education, sociology of education, public school
finance, policy analysis, school leadership, and queer issues in
schools, among others. Courses will be offered in a range of
modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online
formats as well as synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Course
appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as,
hybrid/online format. Overview The GSE consistently ranks among
