Job Description:
Our client, a leading healthcare benefits organization, is
seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to join their
team. As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you will be part
of the Claims Processing department supporting healthcare members
and providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent
communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: Claims Customer Service Representative
Location: Roseland, NJ Pay Range: $20-$23 hourly Shift: Monday –
Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM What's the Job? Handle inbound calls from
members and healthcare providers regarding claims status, benefits,
and eligibility inquiries. Process healthcare claims accurately
through the benefits portal, ensuring compliance with plan rules.
Review claims for correctness and completeness, requesting
additional information when necessary. Communicate claim outcomes,
appeal procedures, and other relevant information to members and
providers. Coordinate with benefit managers and insurance carriers
regarding claim issues and resolutions. What's Needed? High school
diploma or equivalent; college coursework in healthcare
administration or related field preferred. Experience in medical
claims processing or customer service within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology, coding (ICD, CPT), and billing
practices. Strong communication skills and professionalism in
handling sensitive inquiries. Proficiency with claims management
