Job Description:
Actively contribute to all aspects of client engagements by
conducting strategic, financial and organizational analysis; developing and
evaluating recommendations; collaborating directly with clients; and
implementing solutions. Primary Responsibilities: plan and manage a
significant part of the case team, lead project delivery across a range of complex
strategic and organizational issues; provide thought leadership in
structuring the analysis and driving content and insights; generate strategic
and organizational insights using qualitative or quantitative
analysis; manage the development and preparation of client-ready
presentations/outputs; maintain client relationships, and communicate effectively with
clients to build consensus and influence; oversee and guide junior
consultants, including review of their analyses and providing coaching/mentorship/direction; contribute to business
development efforts and draft client proposals with other managerial staff; and lead
firm recruiting efforts and training programs for junior staff
members. Domestic travel expected 1-3 days per week. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in business, finance, engineering or related field of study and
five (5) years of experience performing complex financial and market
segmentation analysis, and preparing and delivering presentations to support
strategic business consulting in the Industrials, Financial Services or
Consumer Wellness sectors or, alternatively, a Master's degree (or
foreign education equivalent) and three years of experience as noted above, or
alternatively, a Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) and one year of
experience as noted above. Must also possess: Demonstrated expertise in
conducting advanced quantitative analysis to systematically test
hypotheses, developing business scenarios and performing sensitivity
analysis under dynamic market conditions, including building complex analytical
models that evaluate the intrinsic value -- profitability, growth and
risk -- of companies; demonstrated expertise conducting primary
large-scale quantitative consumer research, including designing survey
questionnaire, assessing survey results using multi-dimensional scaling methods
to generating consumer insights; and performing cluster-based
customer segmentation and developing customer-centric marketing, service
and retention strategies; demonstrated expertise in identifying,
assessing and prioritizing investment opportunities, and using nonlinear
optimization methods to develop portfolio alternatives; applying advanced
statistical methods to link market and competitive drivers to margin and
prices, and developing pricing forecasts; and developing economic cases,
including market sizing, pricing strategy and P&L forecasting for new
product entry; and demonstrated expertise in analyzing the impact of
macroeconomic trends on company financials and decisions; leveraging secondary
research to evaluate implications of tax and trade policy changes;
developing company- specific financial, operational and strategic adaptations
under macroeconomic changes, including capital spending optimization,
