Job Title: Construction Laborer Location: Lakewood, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $17 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am, Monday - Friday, Overtime possible About our Client: This organization is well-established and has been producing high-quality building and construction materials used in commercial and residential structures, buildings, homes, offices and other uses for nearly 50 years! Construction Laborer Responsibilities: Bring materials, boards, lumber, etc. from lumber yard (outdoors) to the mill shop (indoors) using manual labor, carts, pallet jacks and other equipment. Bring fastening equipment to carpenters such as screws, nuts/bolts, truss hangers, staples, etc. Remove scrap material from production floor using manual labor and properly dispose (recycle) material. Stack finished product in designated areas Construction Laborer Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to lift up 50lbs repetitively throughout 8 hour shift and carry material up to 100 feet unassisted. Must be able to stand, use of both arms/hands/legs, Must be able to work indoors and/or outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to work 8 hours per day on designated shift.
