Job Description:
Description The Senior Executive Assistant serves as the primary
point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all
matters pertaining to the Office of the President & Chief Executive
Officer (“the Office”). The Executive Assistant will work within an
environment that is mission-focused, results-driven, and
community-oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to
exercise good judgment, critical thinking skills, and discretion in
a variety of unpredictable situations. Additional required assets
are superior written and verbal communication, impeccable
organizational skills, and the ability to maintain composure and
balance while juggling multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant
will work collaboratively and independently on projects, from
conception to completion. Roles and Responsibilities Completes
broad administrative tasks for the Office at the direction of the
Chief of Staff, including: managing an active, everchanging
calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; drafting,
appropriately distributing, and maintaining records of confidential
correspondence and documentation; arranging detailed national and
international travel including creation of itineraries;
coordinating meetings and internal/external events; and
interactions involving community and partner outreach and events.
Coordinates projects with a focus on execution and stakeholder
sensitivity; Prepares PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets
and reports, minutes and agendas for Board and Board Committee
Meetings, as well as ad hoc projects for the Office, some of which
have organizational impact; Collaborates and processes regulatory
state and national requirements as needed; Conducts research,
collects and analyzes data, prepares briefings; Researches,
prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns
addressed to the Office, including those of a sensitive or
confidential nature. Acts as a bridge for seamless communication
between the Office and internal AHS departments, demonstrating
leadership and discretion to maintain credibility, trust, and
support with system, community, and foundation Boards; Works
closely and effectively with Chief of Staff to keep the Office well
informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up
appropriately; Acts as a barometer, having a sense for issues
taking place in the workplace. Keeps the Office informed and
recommends solutions that reflect critical thinking and
collaboration; Handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and
thoughtfully, following through on projects to successful
completion, often with deadline pressures; and Follows up on
contacts made by the Office and supports cultivation of ongoing

proposes solutions. Qualifications Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Ten years of
experience supporting C-Level Executives in large, complex
organizations. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, Teams,
Word, Excel, and Power Point; Adobe Acrobat; social media
platforms; and BoardEffect portal. Schedule and Location This
position is in-person and works from our Corporate Headquarters,
475 South Street, Morristown, NJ. Extended in-person hours required
for monthly Board and Board Committee meetings. Occasional support
