Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Baba is seeking a warm,
reliable, and communicative Intake Specialist to support patient
engagement and appointment scheduling. This role helps ensure
patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident as they move
forward with their intake appointments at Baba. You’ll serve as an
early point of contact for patients, answering questions,
clarifying next steps, and offering gentle reminders to help them
follow through on scheduled appointments. What You’ll Do Reach out
to patients ahead of scheduled intake appointments to confirm
attendance and answer high-level questions. Follow up with patients
who completed onboarding and insurance verification but have not
yet scheduled an intake. Use phone and email outreach to help
patients understand the intake process and available next steps.
Provide a friendly, supportive experience that encourages patients
to complete their intake. Track outreach activities to support
continuous improvement in scheduling and engagement. Skills &
Experience Experience in customer-facing roles such as intake
coordination, patient outreach, customer success, or inside sales.
Comfortable communicating by phone and email in a professional and
friendly manner. Strong at addressing questions, concerns, and
uncertainty thoughtfully and helps guide conversations toward clear
next steps. Strong organizational skills and reliable
follow-through. Comfortable working independently in a remote,
part-time role. Experience in healthcare, Telehealth, or
insurance-adjacent environments. Familiarity with CRM, patient
scheduling, and web-based EMR systems. Personality Fit Naturally
personable, calm, and reassuring. Enjoys helping people move
forward and complete tasks. Patient, clear, and solutions-oriented.
Motivated by seeing individuals successfully complete the intake
process.
