benefits. CFS is partnering with a local Investment Management
organization that is looking for its next Loan Servicing Associate.
This organization focuses on the origination and acquisition of
short-dated private mortgages. The Loan Servicing Associate will
report to the Chief Operating Officer and will play a key role in
the administration of the construction loan process for mortgage
loans held in the firm's funds. The individual will act as the
primary point of contact for borrowers, inspectors, and other
stakeholders throughout the construction phase and full lifecycle
of each loan. Responsibilities: Enter newly originated loans into
the firm's mortgage servicing software. Onboard loans in Built , a
construction loan management platform that streamlines borrower
requests, inspection scheduling, budget tracking, and approval
workflows. Review and process draw requests, ensuring all required
documentation-such as lien waivers-is submitted. Coordinate with
title companies to obtain date-down endorsements when necessary.
Analyze inspection reports, validate progress against budgets, and
recommend disbursement amounts for management approval. Record
fundings in loan software and coordinate the execution of
disbursements. Prepare extension agreements in accordance with
documented terms and oversee the collection of fees from borrowers.
Lead outreach efforts to collect past due amounts from borrowers.
Respond promptly to routine borrower requests and inquiries.
Prepare monthly reporting packages for construction draws and
extension summaries. Perform other duties as assigned. Desired
Qualifications: Familiarity with loan terms/agreements and related
documentation. Knowledge of construction loan administration and
ability to apply such knowledge Proficiency with Excel. Experience
with Built and/or The Mortgage Office a plus. This opportunity is
located in Southport, CT - full-time onsite to start, and hybrid
after the training period. This role is offering $80,000-$85,000
depending on experience.
