team at Paxos plays a vital role in ensuring the company adheres to
global regulatory standards across financial products and services.
This team tackles complex challenges such as AML, sanctions, and
transaction monitoring, all while ensuring a robust compliance
framework in a rapidly evolving crypto and fintech landscape. By
safeguarding Paxos against regulatory risks, the team is essential
in helping the company achieve its mission of creating a more
transparent and efficient financial ecosystem. About the role The
Compliance QA & Testing Program Manager is responsible for leading
and enhancing Paxos’ compliance quality assurance and external
partner testing framework. This role focuses on evaluating
compliance effectiveness, conducting internal and external
compliance reviews, and ensuring regulatory standards are met. This
role is responsible for developing a scalable, data-driven QA &
testing program that strengthens compliance processes across Paxos.
What youll do Develop and manage the QA and testing framework to
assess and enhance compliance effectiveness across internal
processes and external partnerships. Conduct data-driven compliance
testing and quality assurance reviews, using analytics to assess
control effectiveness and identify risk areas. Oversee third-party
compliance testing, evaluating external partner risk and adherence
to regulatory requirements. Implement process improvements based on
testing results to enhance regulatory compliance and operational
efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including to
integrate data analysis and automation into compliance quality
assurance and testing. Monitor and report on QA and testing
results, providing insights and recommendations to leadership for
continuous improvement. Ensure alignment with evolving regulatory
requirements, proactively identifying compliance risks and adapting
testing methodologies accordingly. About you 5 years of experience
in compliance testing, audit, risk management, or quality
assurance, preferably in fintech, financial services, or
crypto/blockchain industries. Strong knowledge of regulatory
compliance frameworks (AML, BSA, financial crime compliance,
third-party risk management). Strong analytical skills and
proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Looker, and Compliance
Monitoring Systems (e.g., ComplyAdvantage, Chainalysis,
Hummingbird). Experience conducting QA assessments and compliance
testing for both internal operations and external parties.
Proficiency data analysis, with the ability to assess compliance
controls, analyze large datasets, and identify discrepancies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the
ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to develop and
implement process improvements based on testing results and
compliance insights. Pay and benefits Paxos offers a competitive
total compensation and benefits package, including equity and
bonuses based on both your individual performance and company
performance. Eligibility for bonuses is dependent on job level, and
actual salary within the range depends on your skills, experience,
and qualifications. Expected range for the base salary component
for candidates located within the United States is:
$127,584—$150,099 USD
