Collections Specialist About the Opportunity Join our client, a leading national services organization, as a Collections Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring timely debt resolution while maintaining positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead collection activities for your assigned region to prevent aging of current balances Make confident outbound collection calls and handle incoming inquiries in a metrics-driven environment Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement offers with customers Process payments and resolve account discrepancies and short payments Collaborate with the Billing team on credit adjustments Monitor payment allocations and identify unallocated payments Provide exceptional customer service regarding collection issues What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience Prior collections experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Competitive attitude with resilience in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent negotiation and communication skills This position offers comprehensive training and the opportunity to work with an experienced collections team in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
