Salary: $20 per hourReference: 176327 - EI7Ascendo Resources is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk to join the team of a leading e-commerce platform for bridal and fine jewelry in Manhattan! This position is full time, temporary for the next 2-3 months, and on-site. Your responsibilities in this position will include entering data into spreadsheets and accounting software. APPLY NOW!JobTitle: Accounting ClerkPay rate: 20/hrDays/hours: Mon-Fri 9 AM - 6 PMResponsibilities:As a Accoungting Clerk, you will be required to review bills and perform data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software.Review documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary.Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistencySupport and assist Inventory, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with data entry and data accuracy.Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.Photocopy and scan documents.Ad hoc clerical assistance to the accounting department.Top Keys:College degree not required but a PLUS (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business)Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPS, requiredExperience with large volume of manual workBasic understanding of QuickBooks or other ERP system (Oracle, SAP, etc) a PLUSAble to communicate cross functionally with different departmentsEntrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, quick learnerAscendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, we welcome and celebrate diversity.
